Under the Supervision of the Executive Director of Environment and Sustainable Development, and in collaboration with other members of the Malahat Lands and Environment team, the successful applicant will assist with a robust Marine monitoring and stewardship program. With increasing recreational, commercial and industrial activity in the Salish Sea, Malahat Nation is prioritizing protection of the important cultural and environmental resources that are a part of Malahat Nation’s territory. The successful applicant will be responsible for data collection, marine monitoring, safe boating practices, and finding creative solutions to problems. Malahat Nation has been dedicated to protecting and understanding these ecosystems since time immemorial and must be a part of building the understanding required to manage these valuable resources effectively.
Under the supervision of the Director of Finance, the Finance Clerk will assist in the day-to-day activities of the Finance Department. The Finance Clerk will process financial transactions, ensuring that the financial records of the Nation are maintained in an effective, accurate, and timely manner. The Finance Clerk will assist in the implementation of the Nation’s Financial Administration Law and provide backup support for the Finance Manager.
Under the Supervision of the Manager of Early Learning, the ECEA/ECE/ECEIT will work collaboratively in a team environment while caring for and educating children between the ages of 6 months - 5 years old.
