'uy' skweyul, We are pleased to announce that today, Chief and Council have officially passed the 2025 Revision of our Strategic Plan 2024-2029. Rather than reinventing the strategic direction established last year, this year's revision thoughtfully updates and builds upon the progress we've made toward our shared goals and initiatives. This Strategic Plan is deeply rooted in our Comprehensive Community Planning (CCP) process, reflecting the collective vision and aspirations of our community.

We’re excited to announce some changes to our Community Update Meetings (Open Houses) for the new year! Previously held on the first Wednesday of each month, these gatherings will now be scheduled quarterly in the evenings to allow more opportunities for all interested community members to attend. In alignment with the Comprehensive Development Plan, Land Use Plan and Strategic Plan, Malahat Nation is continuing its work towards upgrading the water and wastewater treatment system on reserve.
